Ottawa police nab suspected 'porch pirate'

Ottawa police have arrested a suspected “porch pirate” they say was stealing packages from the doorsteps of homes in the area of Holland Avenue and Island Park Drive.
Officers watched on Monday afternoon as a man went to a number of residences in the area and lifted parcels left outside the doors of homes.
One man was arrested with “numerous packages” in his car, none of which were addressed to him, police said.
