Ottawa patrol officers, canine units track down break-and-enter suspect

A 40-year-old Ottawa man has been charged with a number offences after he was tracked down by patrol officers and canine units following a Richmond Road break-in Tuesday morning.
Police were called for a break-in in progress at a store in the “300 block of Richmond Road at approximately 2:17 a.m.”
The suspect had fled, so officers called in the dog unit for assistance.
