Ottawa man had drugs worth $29,500, handgun: Peterborough OPP

A month-long police investigation led police to pull over an Ottawa man and seize cocaine, fentanyl and a loaded handgun, Peterborough County OPP alleges.
The probe by the Peterborough County street crime unit led to a traffic stop on Towerhill Road just after 5 p.m. Thursday.
Police estimated the value of the seized drugs at $29,500.
Kevon Samuel-Barriteau, 24, was scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough, about 400 km southwest of Ottawa, on Friday.
