Ottawa man charged in sex extortion case that straddles U.S. border

An Ottawa man is facing several charges after police, acting on a tip from U.S. Homeland Security, rescued a woman who is alleged to have been sexually extorted.
Earlier this month, Ottawa police received information that female victims were being extorted for sexually explicit videos and images. One of those victims was in Ottawa.
On Wednesday, police went to a Kanata address where they found a 20-year-old woman who was allegedly being held against her will. She has since been reunited with her
