Ottawa man, 54, faces child porn charges

A 54-year-old Old Ottawa South man will appear in court Thursday to face child porn charges, the result of an investigation that began in April.
In the spring, an Ottawa police officer from the Internet Child Exploitation Unit was searching a peer-to-peer file sharing network. The technology is sometimes used to share child pornography images.
The investigator identified an Ottawa IP address used to share images of young children being sexually abused.
