Ottawa kitchen and bath award winners trend toward modern design

There was a refreshing variety and return of colour at this year’s Ottawa kitchen and bath awards.
From robin’s egg blue to wood-grain cabinets, creative tile choices and statement pendants, Ottawa homeowners took some chances and expressed their personality in the entries vying for trophies at the Design Excellence Awards gala held by the Ottawa Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bathroom Association (NKBA) May 5.
