Ottawa Humane Society asking public to boycott bull-riding event

The Ottawa Humane Society is asking the public to boycott a bull-riding event coming to Lansdowne on Friday, calling it an “animal cruelty showcase.”
“This event is inhumane and we’re imploring our community to boycott it,” said Bruce Roney, OHS executive director, in a news release on Wednesday.
