Ottawa hit by postal workers 24-hour walkout
There’ll be no more delivery or pickup Wednesday Ottawa, Arnprior and Renfrew are the latest sites of the postal workers’ rotating series of 24-hour walkouts.
Workers walked off the job in the capital at 6 a.m., along with Charlottetown and Summerside, PEI.
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) began the rotating strikes Oct. 22 to increase pressure on Canada Post in contract talks.
