Ottawa firefighters douse Kanata blaze Sunday

Ottawa Fire Services battled a house fire in Kanata on Sunday that displaced one person and a dog. 
Firefighters were called to Hungerford Gate, near Castlefrank Road, at 9:43 a.m. and found a three-storey, multi-unit residential building issuing smoke. 
They put out the fire in about half an hour. No one was injured. 
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
