Ottawa Fire Service issues open fire ban

It’s another sure sign that spring has at last arrived.
Ottawa Fire Services slapped a city-wide ban on open fires Friday afternoon and said the ban will remain in effect until conditions improve. Or as the Fire Service puts it: until “the green grass starts to show through tall dead grass.”
