Ottawa fire crews battle blaze at Richmond house

One person was being assessed for possible smoke inhalation Tuesday as firefighters tackled a blaze at a house on McBean Street in Richmond.
Crews were summoned by a 911 call from a neighbour reporting smoke and flames at 3899 McBean St. at 1:30 p.m.
The homeowner wasn’t at home so the neighbour, who was being assessed by paramedics, checked on the residence.

Fire crews spotted smoke coming from the single-storey
