Ottawa Citizen Golf Championship tees off with first round in great weather

On a day when Ricky Coulombe shot a 3-over-par 74, he still sat just one shot behind Perry Freda in the Senior Open division of the Ottawa Citizen Golf Championship.
Day 1 of the three-day tournament was played Friday at Carleton Golf and Yacht Club under blue skies and brilliant sunshine.
Coulombe said the key in this type of tournament was to stay patient, not to get too worked up about a bad shot or a bad hole and to keep his composure.
