Ottawa Champions lose to New Jersey Jackals despite fine pitching effort

Daniel Cordero pitched a complete game for the Ottawa Champions on Sunday, limiting the New Jersey Jackals to eight hits and two runs, and only one of those runs was earned.
It still wasn’t enough to produce a victory for the Champions, who lost 2-1 to the Jackals in a Can-Am League baseball game at RCGT Park.
