Ottawa Champions blast Rockland Boulders, close in on .500 again

Steve Brown hit a homer and drove in four runs, while Sebastien Boucher and Tyler Nordgren both added three runs-batted-in as the Ottawa Champions thumped the Rockland Boulders 12-4 in a Can-Am League baseball game at RCGT Park on Friday night.
The victory improved the Champions’ record to 31-32, which brought them back within a single game of the .500 mark for the first time since May 24, when they were 3-3.
Steve Borkowski was the winning pitcher of record after going five-plus innings.
