Ottawa-area activists face online threats in Twitter war over Stanley fundraiser
An Ottawa woman has filed a police complaint over death threats she received after posting publicly available information about those who supported a fund for recently acquitted Saskatchewan farmer Gerald Stanley.
Miranda Dyck, a senior policy analyst with Health Canada, said she received telephone and Twitter threats after posting information about people who donated to Stanley’s GoFundMe page.
