Ottawa agencies join forces for long-haul tornado recovery and fundraising

A coalition of 10 organizations has formed to help with the months-long recovery from the tornadoes that struck Ottawa on Sept. 21.
Led by United Way Ottawa, the group held its first meeting Wednesday at city hall.
“As life begins to continue, the commitment we have made, as institutional organizations and not-for-profit sector leaders, is that we will not forget anybody,” said United Way president Michael Allen.
