OSPCA, police probing Ottawa man's dog abuse boasts

An Ottawa man’s social media boasts of abusing his dog are under investigation by police and the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
In Facebook posts that have since been taken down or made private, the man claimed to have given his pit bull-type pup cannabis edibles and an animal is pictured with its muzzle tied shut.
Ottawa police spokesman Const. Chuck Benoit said police are aware of the allegations and are investigating.
