Orléans man charged for accessing child porn

Ottawa police have charged a 51-year-old Orléans man after receiving a tip concerning alleged illegal access of child pornography websites.
The tip came from a member of the public in late March. The police’s internet child exploitation unit later obtained a search warrant to analyze a laptop seized from a workplace.
Joel Orr, 51, was arrested and charged with accessing child pornography.
He was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
