OPP, wildlife rescuers swoop in to help fallen swans

When a couple of swans ran into power lines in Prince Edward County Monday, the local OPP teamed up with a nearby wildlife centre to rescue them.
The male and female mute swans both suffered burns and are now recovering at the Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre in nearby Greater Napanee.
A passerby spotted the pair on the Loyalist Parkway near Consecon and called the police for help. They secured the scene after issuing an SOS to the Sandy Pines.
