OPP report long weekend fatalities, lay speeding charges

It was a deadly long weekend on Ontario roads this past Canada Day, with the Ontario Provincial Police reporting seven deaths and several drivers charged with speeding and stunt driving.
The OPP reported that five drivers, one passenger, and one pedestrian are among the victims who died on OPP-patrolled roads. All victims were killed in separate collisions.
Dangerous incidents also occurred off the road, with three drowning victims and two people who died in marine incidents in OPP jurisdictions
