OPP nab wrong-way driver on the Queensway

A motorist “safely intercepted” while heading east on the westbound Queensway early Sunday morning was charged with both dangerous and drunk driving, Ottawa OPP reports.
After the traffic stop shortly after 2 a.m. near Terry Fox Drive, the 56-year-old Peterborough man was charged with dangerous driving, operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood and operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol.
