Ontario announces 'enhancements' to controversial autism reforms

Saying parents were right that different children on the autism spectrum have different needs, Ontario’s embattled Children, Community and Social Services Minister Lisa MacLeod added “enhancements” to her government’s controversial autism reforms Thursday.
MacLeod said she will consult with parents over the upcoming months with the aim of determining the best way to provide additional support to families based on the diagnosed needs of their child.
