One person in custody after late-night stabbing Wednesday

One man has been arrested after a man suffered non-life-threatening wounds in a stabbing near Russell Road in the east end Wednesday night.
Police were called to the scene near the intersection of Russell Road and Southvale Crescent at around 10 p.m.
They found the victim on a footpath. He was taken to hospital.
Further investigation led to the arrest of of the second man.
Police would not say whether the victim and the suspect know each other.
