Off-duty Ottawa cops won't wear uniforms to Pride

Off-duty Ottawa police officers will attend the Capital Pride parade wearing ordinary clothes rather than their uniforms.
For the second year in a row, the week’s organizers requested that off-duty officers leave their uniforms at home so that “everyone feels safe at Pride, particularly LGBTQ2 youth, and racialized and Indigenous community members.”
