OCDSB picks 'recognized leader' as new director

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has appointed a senior executive with its counterpart in Durham as its next director of education overseeing learning for about 73,000 students in 143 schools
Camille Williams-Taylor assumes the job Jan. 1, the board said in a statement Tuesday. She has 29 years of experience in education including provincial, post-secondary and public education leadership roles, most recently with the Durham District School Board since 2011.
