OC Transpo retires route number in Westboro crash

OC Transpo Route 269 has been renumbered as a mark of respect to the three people who died and 23 who were injured when a double-decker crashed at Westboro Station.
“Route number 269 is being retired out of respect for those who passed away or were injured in the Westboro Station bus collision,” the city said in a bulletin on spring service changes that took effect Sunday.
At the time of the Jan. 11 crash, OC Transpo’s “Connexion” Route 269 was bound for Bridlewood
