Nikkel: 'Best before' dates are long past their prime in Canada

Recently, major grocery retailers in the United Kingdom announced plans to scrap "best before" dates on hundreds of products, in a very public attempt to tackle food waste. Tesco, Waitrose, Marks & Spencer and Morrison have led the way, and it’s expected more will follow suit.
