New LRT construction boss takes over controls for first phase

The first phase of the Confederation Line LRT project has been handed off to a new construction director at Ottawa City Hall.
Steve Cripps had led the O-Train construction office until Dec. 31.
Now, the project is in the hands of Michael Morgan, another city rail manager who has been working on the massive Stage 2 expansion.
The head of the O-Train construction office oversees the largest infrastructure project in Ottawa’s history, making sure taxpayers are getting the transit system they&
