Nervous homeowners watch rivers rise as rain feeds spring floodwaters
From her bedroom window, Gatineau’s Sylvie Goneau watched with a familiar sense of foreboding Friday as the swollen Ottawa River massed for a land invasion.
“It’s grey, cold and scary,” she said of the scene.
