NDP in Ottawa-Vanier nominate Ontario's first transgender candidate for MPP

An Ottawa candidate has made history as the first transgender person to represent a major party in an Ontario election. 
Lyra Evans was nominated on the weekend as the NDP candidate for Ottawa-Vanier for the June 7 provincial election.
