NCC polls Gatineau Park users on ideas including night-time vehicle ban

A new National Capital Commission survey is seeking public feedback on ideas including closing the Gatineau Park parkways to motorized traffic overnight.
The aim is to reduce crashes, speeding, collisions with wildlife, nuisance to neighbours, vandalism and the use of the park for drug use and drinking, the commission says in a survey posted Tuesday as part of a review of the park’s master plan.
