NCC moves to fix unreliable Hog's Back swing bridge

Armed with millions in new federal money, the National Capital Commission is swinging into action to fix the banged-up 42-year-old bridge at Hog’s Back.
The agency is looking for a design and technical consultant to provide advice on the bridge upgrades, which could happen in 2019. The preliminary cost of construction is $2.5 million, according to tender documents.
