Nakayla Baskin, who had been missing since Sept. 24, has been found safe, police announced Wednesday.
The 11-year-old girl has been the subject of a massive search effort by Ottawa police, and a video appeal for help from her family.
Police said they received a tip from the public about Nakayla’s disappearance, and at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday, officers visited a Vanier apartment where they found the missing girl. She has since been reunited with her family.
