NAC Orchestra hires new managing director from Iceland

The National Arts Centre Orchestra has recruited a new managing director from its Icelandic counterpart.
Arna Einarsdóttir, managing director of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, will take up the post in the spring of 2019. The job became vacant in June, when Christopher Deacon, the orchestra’s managing director for 22 years, took over as the NAC’s president and chief executive.
