Music drives noise complaints in Ottawa

Annoyed Ottawa residents — especially those in the Rideau-Vanier ward — are most peeved when it comes to others’ music.
The 2017 log of complaints for city hall’s 311 service shows that of the 10,376 noise complaints filed over the year, the most frequent beef was related to music.
More than 5,000 times, the call centre received information from people so annoyed by music, they felt compelled to make a fuss.
