Mother's concern for inebriated son leads to man's arrest

It might have been a textbook case of a mother’s concern going awry.
The mother of a 27-year-old Brockville man needed advice on what to do with her intoxicated son late Thursday night.
So, shortly after midnight, she took him to the Brockville Police Service headquarters.
The helpful officers discovered there was a warrant out for the inebriated lad for a probation violation and took him off her hands.
