More waste on Afghan aid projects – no evidence to show benefit from $1 billion fund

The U.S. government’s Office of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) released a new audit today, highlighting yet again another failed aid program in Afghanistan.
The audit was conducted at the request of senators and it focused on the Task Force for Business and Stability Operations’ (TFBSO) operations in Afghanistan.
TFBSO was created by the U.S. Department of Defense and carried out economic development projects in Afghanistan from 2010 through 2014
