More snow, reduced visibility expected in big mid-week dump

Environment Canada has issued a “winter storm watch” for Ottawa, forecasting anywhere from 25 to 35 centimetres of blowing snow to hit the capital Tuesday into Wednesday.
“Snow will begin during the day Tuesday,” the weather agency said. “Strong easterly winds gusting to 80 km/h will cause reduced visibilities in blowing snow.”
The snow is expected to taper off during the day Wednesday.
