Missing 78-year-old man located safe, sound

The Ottawa police’s search for a 78-year-old man who had been missing since about noon Thursday didn’t last long.
André Labreche, who had last been seen heading west on Montreal Road toward Codd’s/Carsons Road, was located safe and sound, police reported in a news release at 5 p.m.
Labreche’s family had said they feared for his safety because he suffers from dementia.
