Melinda Karlsson's emotional Instagram post on death of son

Melinda Karlsson took to Instagram Friday to express her feelings about the death of her son last month.
“It’s taken me a while to reflect and collect my thoughts, but I finally feel strong enough to share them,” Melinda said.
Melinda and her husband, Ottawa Senators captain Erik Karlsson, lost their child on March 20. She was due to give birth in April. Karlsson missed several games toward the end of the season as the couple grieved.
