Mechanical trouble closes Avalon Public School

Avalon Public School in the city’s east end is closed Wednesday due to mechanical problems that firefighters traced to the building’s HVAC systems.
Students have been taken to nearby Summerside Public School. Parents are being called and asked to pick them up.
