Man slightly hurt in Pinecrest-area car fire

A man suffered what paramedics said were minor burns to his arm after a car fire in parking lot at city police’s west-end service centre.
Firefighters were called to 2670 Queensview Dr., near Pinecrest Road, at 9:27 a.m. The flames were out by 9:46 a.m.
Paramedics were still on the scene as of 10:15 a.m.
No word yet on the cause of the blaze but Ottawa Fire Services warned the public to give car fires a wide berth of at least 100 metres and to never get back in a vehicle that’s on fi
