Man revived by first responders after overdose, purple heroin suspected
Ottawa police say they used naloxone Tuesday morning to revive a man who they suspect had overdosed on “purple heroin,” a combination of heroin, fentanyl, and other opioids like morphine that has become increasingly common in Ontario over the past year.
“This morning, several Ottawa police officers were able to revive a man in a suspected drug overdose after using their service-issued naloxone,” said police in a press release.
