Man in critical condition after being hit by car

Paramedics responded to a call for pedestrian struck that occurred on Clyde Ave just north of Baseline Rd. around 12:30 am.
Paramedics treated a male patient, believed to be in his 30’s, for multi-system trauma – cardiac arrest as a result of being struck by a car travelling in southbound lane of Clyde Ave. Aggressive life-saving manoeuvers were initiated by paramedics on scene and patient was transported to The Ottawa Hospital Trauma Centre in critical condition.
