Man in critical condition after being hit by car on Montreal Road

Paramedics responded to a call for pedestrian struck on Montreal Road near the Vanier Parkway around 2:20 a.m Sunday.
Paramedics treated a male patient, 53, for life-threatening multi system trauma. He had significant chest and internal injuries, including head and extremity trauma.
The patient was transported to the trauma centre at The Ottawa Hospital in critical condition.
