Man gunned down in south part of Ottawa

An unidentified man was shot Sunday night in a residence on Meaghan Private, near Hunt Club Road in the southern section of Ottawa. Ottawa Paramedic Service said in a tweet that the man was in critical condition after aggressive resuscitation by paramedics. The post also said paramedics received the call at 8:46 p.m.
