Man charged with attempted murder in Nov. 8 shooting in Overbrook

Ottawa police have charged a Cornwall-area man with attempted murder in connection with a shooting last week on Queen Mary Street in Overbrook.
A shooting was reported in the area at about 4:04 p.m. Nov. 8. After an investigation, police arrested one man near the scene of the shooting. That man has not been charged, police said Tuesday.
Police later learned that a man was at a nearby hospital with gunshot injuries, which police linked to the incident near Overbrook.
