Man arrested, gun and drugs seized after Overbrook shootout

Police have arrested one man, seized a loaded handgun, oxycontin and crack cocaine after a daylight gunfight in Overbook Thursday, Ottawa’s 14th incident of gunfire in 2018.
Chaun Lemieux, 18, is charged with a long list of firearms offences and three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Ottawa police received several calls reporting the shootout at around 4:45 p.m. Thursday.
