Man arrested after suspected arson destroys Lincoln Fields Wendy's restaurant

Ottawa police confirmed Tuesday that one person has been arrested after an early morning blaze destroyed the Wendy’s restaurant at Lincoln Fields.
The arrest came after officers gathered witness statements on the scene. No charges have been laid as yet, police said.
A massive, early morning fire destroyed a Wendy’s restaurant at the Lincoln Fields Mall on Carling Avenue Tuesday.
The fire broke out shortly after midnight while about a half-dozen staff were inside.
