Man, 73, charged with attempted murder after 'domestic disturbance'

A 73-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was allegedly assaulted in a home in Almonte on Wednesday.Around 12:39 a.m., officers with the Ontario Provincial Police’s Lanark detachment responded to a “domestic disturbance” report at a home.
